about

Welcome to my little corner of the internet — a soft landing place for the curious, the cozy, and the mildly chaotic. I’m Chelsey… though depending on who you ask, you might know me as Chels, Cheesey, or a few other nicknames that walk the fine line between explicit and oddly endearing.

But my most cherished name — the one that feels stitched into my heart — is Marshmallow Mouse. My grandfather gave it to me when I was little, and it’s followed me ever since like a whisper of home. My sister, forever my partner in mischief, became Monkey Mouse, and together we grew up with those names as little badges of love — gentle reminders of softness and silliness that never quite faded.

Now in my late twenties, I’m still figuring out the whole “adulthood” thing — juggling a corporate career, creative passions, and a very spoiled dog named Bean (the true CEO of my life). I find peace in small joys: the rhythm of crocheting, the scent of something baking, a good book that feels like a friend, and the quiet power of gratitude.

I’ve danced with anxiety most of my life, learning — slowly, imperfectly — that healing isn’t about having it all together, but about finding beauty in the mess. This space is my way of sharing that journey: the crafts that ground me, the recipes that comfort me, the stories that remind me we’re all just trying to make life a little softer.

So pull up a chair, take a deep breath, and stay awhile. This is Marshmallow Mouse — a space for cozy chaos, creative hearts, and anyone trying to turn the hard parts of life into something a little bit lovely.

Welcome to my little corner of the internet — part cozy chaos, part “am I doing this right?” energy. I’m in my late twenties, still figuring out adulthood one coffee, craft, and crisis at a time.

Expect books I love, recipes I probably improvised, and honest thoughts about keeping it together (mostly). Grab a snack — we’re just out here trying to make the mess look cute.
